Organizational Leadership Capstone Project

Real World Experience. Immediate Career Impact.

At Manhattan College, we know that the most effective leaders are those who have proven their skills with real-world experience. That’s why we have designed the online M.S. in Organizational Leadership capstone project to put you in the middle of the action. This project will give you the opportunity to apply your newly earned leadership skills as a consultant for a real-world business issue and work to propose a solution.

Our graduates have completed some impressive capstone projects with large and small businesses alike, across many industries. Below is a short list of some capstone projects completed by students:

  • A large health care organization with declining patient experience scores uncovered the source of the problem – overcrowding in the ER – and created positive change to address the issue.
  • A small education start-up with a multi-million dollar Robin Hood grant received a growth strategy that would maintain the company’s ethics and culture as they grew.
  • A 40-person company in the health care industry struggling to train their employees in Internet safety developed an Internet Safety and Protocols guide.
  • An analytics company faced culture shock with a coming merger. They created a transition plan that blended cultures and helped bond employees who had never worked together before.
  • A workforce training company needed help assessing their participants’ performance on the job. They developed procedures to evaluate their work and get feedback from the companies who hired them.
  • A mid-sized technology consulting firm needed to hire top talent. With the right talent acquisition plan, they attracted and retained the right people for the job.
